Wife and I took a nice 3 hour ride with this outfit while we were in Andrews. The horses are well taken care of, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We had an outstanding time. We will definitely be back!
We just experienced the best ride we have ever taken. Gary was wonderful with all of us our youngest rider was 4 years old. The ride was breathe taking. This is a must do adventure in Hico. We will be doing this again!
Gary was able to take 7 of us out the same day we called. He was a little late but not much. We had 2 experienced riders, 4 beginners, and 1 who had never ridden. All of us had a blast! It was a really great experience and we will be returning next fall. Ride ended up being 3.5 hours and Gary was very patient with us losing things out of our pockets along the way even though saddle bags were provided lol. It's a long windy drive to the stable, but we enjoyed it. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and it's not your typical stable ride, we got to trot and gallop! Highly recommend!
I would never do business with someone this sketchy. We ended up riding with another stable, an actual business, close by.
I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYBODY! I googled horseback riding while traveling through WV. This place happened to be close to where we were. I called the phone number and googled the address.
Doesn't return calls.
Took our credit card reservation, then told us we were to meet him, not to come to his place of business. We waited 30 minutes, and when he didn't show, or answer his phone, we went to the "office". LoL
This happened yesterday and today. Still don't know if he thinks he is going to charge our card, but he better not.
After about twenty calls, from the time we were to meet, until we gave up, he finally called back. He set us up for the next afternoon, which he again messed us over by cancelling the next afternoon.
He said he had to take my credit card info to hold the reservation. So I gave it to him. But then he said its cash only and to make sure I bring cash. He said to meet at Exxon for the shuttle. Once waiting there he was late and said to follow him. There was no shuttle. Down windy roads with no cell phone coverage at all. I should have turned around but he had my credit card info already. We arrived to a private residence with one other car in driveway. I asked where the rest of the group was. He said they were running late and we were going to meet up with them. I did not feel comfortable, no cell coverage and nobody else riding. No not happening. I still paid him but we did not ride. We got back in our vehicle and left. Luckily the GPS worked to get out of there. I cancelled the card I gave him and we're out cash. I was so stupid to follow him in the first place. The original reviews we read before calling to reserve were good ones. Looking back, they are from 2014 to 2016. PLEASE do more research before falling for this.
There was no signage, no one there, and the building was abandon, in shambles.
