Awesome lodging experience. Everything from working with Crysty on the phone beforehand to late night arrival and simplicity of finding your cabin, to the cabin's condition and layout, cleanliness, comfort and abundance of amenities (the hot tub on your own private deck!). Cabins are also spaced far enough apart to provide late night privacy without concern for disturbing neighbors. We had the Spencer cabin for a weekend. This will be our first choice for next time visiting the area!
Just spent 4 nights at the Cherokee. This place was so clean. The people who run the office are amazing. Our family had the best vacation here. They helped us find a place to go horseback riding that was out of this world. They also helped us find atv riding trails down by the rivers that we absolutely breathe taking. If you like the outdoors this was the place to go. Cannot wait to go back next summer!
Amazing Cabins. Away from the city and in midst of nature. Totally recommend this place.
I loved the cabins with the back porch hot tub, comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. More, the private setting for each cabin was in happy contrast to other area cabins I have stayed in, which are lined up such that there is little privacy. If you love birding or other outdoor activities, this is a convenient location. Highly recommend!
The cabins are extremely nice however service is a little bit questionable we ran out of gas for grill mid cooking... had to steal gas from another cabin it was also empty finally by stealing the third tank we actually got some gas also our cabin needed maintenance during the time we were there they send someone out to fix it right away we stayed in the Spencer which is a bit close to the road there are a lot of cars driving up and down the road at all times of day and night my recommendation is ask them for one tucked back further in the community for these reasons is why I left three stars I would have left five stars had everything else going correctly
